Before you build

What if the app doesn't match what I described?+

We run a scored structural-probe gate before every build — if the spec doesn't meet the quality bar, we flag it before spending build time. And if the delivered app misses something clearly in your brief, we rebuild or fix it at no charge. Failed builds are always free.

How long does a build actually take?+

The wizard takes ~10 minutes. Builds run in the background and are typically delivered within 24 hours. Complex apps (SSO, multi-tenant, integrations) are scoped as custom builds with agreed timelines.

Can I try before committing to any exit?+

Yes — the 30-day free trial is exactly that. Sign in, build, get a live URL, use it with your team. No card required. You pick an exit (take the code, hosted, or custom) only when you decide to keep it.

What happens to my app after 30 days if I don't pick an exit?+

The live URL goes offline and the build is archived. Your spec and a summary are retained in your account. You can re-activate at any time by picking an exit — the build log and spec are preserved.

Is this built on proprietary tooling I'd need to learn?+

No. Every build uses Next.js (App Router), Postgres (via Neon or your own), Prisma, Tailwind, and Resend for email. Standard stack any engineer already knows. No proprietary runtime, no generation artifacts.

What's the refund policy?+

Failed builds are free — you're never charged for a build that doesn't complete successfully. For change orders and subscriptions, contact hello@ustack.ai within 48 hours and we'll sort it out.
